We purchased our 1966 T-Bird convertible in 1977 from a man in Wauwatosa in good original condition with 73,000 miles on it. We warehoused the car for 30 years before I had time to start the restoration.

I used a body tilter to do the under carriage clean up, replacing the fuel tank, gas lines, brakes, exhaust system, paint and undercoating. The upper body was stripped and painted with base coat, clear coat after all rust and dents were repaired. The car was completed with all new chrome plating, new tires and a black top.

After owning several other T-Birds this has been our favorite car to drive and show.
